Introduction to CATIA (V5)

CATIA, introduced by Dassault Systems as SolidWorks, is one of the world's leading solutions for product design and experience. It is widely used throughout the engineering industry, especially in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Many automotive companies use CATIA to varying degrees, including BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, Tesla Motors. Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace as giant aerospace companies have been using CATIA. In this lecture, CATIA workbench, drawing and modelling tools, parametrized drawing and exporting the model as technical drawing will be introduced.
